Jennifer Aniston breaks up with Brad Pitt (essay #2)

I interested in entertainment news, so everyday I read about actor, musician
and many popular models information on the TV or magazines. Recently, I saw a lot of entertainment news. Especially, I interested in “Jennifer Aniston files for divorce” (Ray Jordan, Post-Dispatch, 03.25.2005). It is regrettable that she broke up with Brad Pitt. Also, this news has been interesting to other people including me. So I would like to write the news that Jennifer Aniston broke up with Brad Pitt. And I will describe why this news has a lot of attention.

First, Jennifer Aniston married Brad Pitt in July 29, 2000. But now, Jennifer Aniston filed for divorce suit from Brad Pitt on March 25, 2005. Because they think that is better to be a friend then to be a married. And they want to maintain their friendship. It was the first marriage for both.

Jennifer Aniston and Brad Pitt are very popular entertainments. So we like talking about their life. Also, I think popular stars equal to our idol. In the other way, we don’t like talking about unpopular stars, because they are not our idol and we do not respect unpopular star. In addition, popular stars are very rich and their life is very aristocratic life. Many American people and international people know them, because their life is open to the public. So everyone is interested in they special life. People are envious of popular star then unpopular star. Also, people are more interested in their wedding and divorce because these are associated with their big money. Especially, people want to know about their consolation money.

Lastly, many popular stars have a lot of fan. Always fan are jealous big stars and respect them. So many popular stars have been concerned by a lot of fan. When I was in Korea, I saw “friends” accidentally. The main actress is Jennifer Aniston. I like her character, style and acting since I saw her on TV program. I become curious about her life. After I saw a lot of news about her life. So I think that the people who like the big stars have the reason why people are interested in news about a big star life.

In conclusion, many people have attention about star’s wedding and divorce. Because they like the money and they dream that they living a brilliant life. So many people read news about life of the big stars.

Reporting The Facts (summary #1)

The thesis of "Reporting the facts" by the South China Morning Post (1998) is that in the media there are a lot of mistake which include: failure to check the facts, misreporting, misquoting and rumors on the Internet. Sometimes News reporters get the wrong information and they did not verify the facts for a good story. To begin with, most of the reporters did not consider this to be problems, so many wrong reports have been published to us. Next, occasionally if reporters use dazzling words in the article the news can be more newsworthy. Also, when an article is put in the newspaper writers should edit it in order to make readers understand it more easily. However, in the process of editing errors of meaning or words might happen in the article. Lastly, through the Internet, we have many chances to see various rumors.

The Internet in my County (essay #1)

Nowadays a lot of people use the Internet and Korean people too. Almost all people use the Internet for their job or education or communication. Because the Internet gives a lot of good things to us. But sometimes Internet influence is bad for us. Especially, Internet is likely to give harmful influence to children. Because they don’t know so they look at everything without distinguishing good things and bad things. So bad sites on the Internet can be harmful to children.

The Internet has a lot of influence in Korea. The Internet is one of the great media. From the children and adults, many people use the Internet nowadays and it became a part of the human life. Internet has made life more convenient by giving valuable information. It has also created serious problems. Sometime it makes confusing, addicting and unsuitable information. So I think the Internet should be used carefully when they use the Internet. Internet is helpful to us for life. Nowadays people are very busy and the world change fast. Many people have no time. For that reason, the Internet is necessary for us who change quickly. The Internet give a lot of information, news, and education faster than other media to us. And people can use the Internet easily anytime and everywhere in they life. Moreover, people can contact business transaction easily. And sometimes we can contact with my friends on the Internet. Also, I can share my opinion with others freely on-line by chatting and e-mail. Therefore, this is so amazing that if I want, I can talk a many people and share them.

However the Internet cause have a bad influence on children. The children accept information which it get from the Internet like that, because they don’t have any ability which they could distinguish good information and bad information. So the children become addict in the Internet game. They could apply force easily in real world. We should make a system which children could not use without parent’s agreement and social approval.

In conclusion, Internet has a lot of good things and bad things. Sometimes it makes human life more helpful and harmful. If we use the Internet carefully, Internet will be more helpful to us. And I believe the Internet is important achievement in that it is related with the change of our source of information from the Internet. Lastly, the Internet is very useful and makes a convenient life.

My AE2 class started on March 23th.
I'm very nervous, because I met a lot of new friends and new teathers.

I would like to discuss Chapter 8 in Sarah, Plain and Tall because many interesting things happen. First, Sarah puts on Jacob's overalls. Also, Sarah says she wants to learn how to ride a horse. And then, Sarah said, "I will ride Jack." Later, Papa says he has to fix the roof, so Sarah said, "I am a good carpenter." Third, Anna's tears gathered at the corners of her eyes. And then, Papa ordered Caleb to "Get the hores inside." Sarah said they would fix the roof and she could go to town herself.

My favorite actor is Jet Lee. First, I love Jet Lee because
he is a very good actor and a very good entertainer. He is
an international actor. He has acted in a lot of movies, such
as Kiss of the Dragon, Hero, The One. All his movies have been
very successful. Second, Jet Lee fights very well. He learned
martial arts when he was young, so he is the best in martial
arts. Third, his face is very handsome. He always smiles, and
he looks like a kind man. In conclusion, these are the three
reasons why I love Jet Lee.
